TOPS, under Central Retail, was delighted to join the Annual British Embassy Football Tournament 2026, held in partnership with the Premier League. Hosted on Sunday, 6 September 2026 at Polo Football Park, the tournament brought together 16 teams representing the Thai government, the business sector, and the British Embassy community for an exciting day of seven-a-side football. The official Premier League Trophy was also put on display in Thailand to mark the occasion.

The event was graced by H.E. Nicola Pollitt, the newly appointed British Ambassador to Thailand, alongside Mr David Thomas, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Bangkok. Representing the Thai government were H.E. Mr Pattana Promphat, Minister of Public Health, and H.E. Mr Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, joining esteemed leaders from across the Thai and international business communities.

During the grounds tour, TOPS had the honor of welcoming Ambassador Pollitt, Mr. Thomas, and distinguished guests to the TOPS FOOD HALL booth. Featuring TOPS EATERY, the booth served fresh deli-style bites—including mini burgers, pizza, and wraps—highlighting the brand’s quality comfort food offerings.

Prominent executives across the group attended the tournament in support of the initiative. Central Group was represented by Mr. Samrit Anupak, Head of Community Development, Inclusion, and Social Affairs. Representing TOPS were Ms. Pakwimol Satawedin, Head of Retail Operations – LOOKS, and Mr. Benjamin Criballet, Head of Food & Beverage and Ready-to-Eat. Also present were Ms. Orawan Sirichottirat, Head of Corporate Affairs & Government Relations at Central Retail Food, and Mr. Eric Leray, Senior Vice-President of Omnichannel & eCommerce at CRC Sports under Central Retail.

Beyond the football, the tournament also carried a meaningful cause, with the British Embassy Bangkok partnering with Save the Children to raise funds supporting youth development initiatives in Thailand. TOPS was proud to be part of an event that brought together sport, community, and shared purpose, and looks forward to continued collaboration with the British Embassy and partners across the diplomatic and business sectors in Thailand.
